I'd love to make a territory control game where you're this guardian sphere protecting your grid spaces. When you move over a square, it lights up in your color. Other AI spheres try to take over your territory by changing the colors back. The grid lines should pulse with energy, and maybe we could add some cool effects when territories change hands?
